Shelter of Care Home Page


Shelter of Care is a Christian foundation, established by a young Romanian couple, Sorin and Genuţa Erhan, together with Elaine Matthes from the United States. Shelter of Care provides support to young Romanian people who have spent their childhoods in orphanages and foster homes.

Mission Statement

To provide shelter and practical support for young people transitioning from orphanages or foster care to life on their own.

To provide spiritual care and nurture for these young people.

To offer counseling and legal aid through a dedicated counseling center.
